Service & Workmanship Policy
Our workmanship policy is built around the approved scope, careful preparation, appropriate product use, clear expectations, and a final review of the completed work.
What Workmanship Covers
Workmanship concerns are evaluated against the written project scope, the service performed, the existing floor condition, product requirements, and the conditions documented before work began.
Natural Variation & Existing Conditions
Wood grain, species, age, oxidation, replacement boards, repairs, stain absorption, gaps, subfloor movement, prior coatings, pet damage, water damage, and other pre-existing conditions can remain visible or affect the final result.
Aftercare Matters
Damage caused by premature furniture or rug placement, incompatible cleaners, moisture, spills, pet damage, construction activity, or failure to follow finish-specific curing instructions is not a workmanship issue.
Report a Concern
If you believe an area does not match the approved scope, contact Floors 4 U with the project details and photos when possible so the concern can be reviewed.
